Janome Feet – “E” and “Z” Feet

Today’s foot is the zipper foot “E”. This foot is used for… well you guessed it. Putting zippers in!

Q: What is the difference between zipper foot “E” and “Z”?

A: Zipper foot “E” is the standard zipper foot that comes with most Janome machines. The “Z” foot is the concealed zipper foot that is an additional foot you can purchase for your machine. You will visually see the difference in styles if you watch the two videos posted below. Otherwise, a concealed is one you will not be able to see in the project. You will typically just see the zipper pull where there regular zipper you will see the entire zipper.

Use: aid the crafter in sewing a zipper into a project.
